The Brothers Bloom (2009)

I really enjoyed watching this movie, with the really amazing story they wrote and with the awesome cast which include Rachel Weisz, Adrien Brody and Mark Ruffalo. I think that they picked the right group of people to star in this movie. Their performances where very well done, since there is comedy, romance, drama, and a little action, but to me mostly comedy. I loved the little gags that went on pretty much through out the story, they were so great.

Well incase you don’t know anything about this movie, here’s what it’s about. It’s about these two brothers Stephen (Ruffalo) and Bloom (Brody) who have perfected there cons over the year, starting at a very young age. Now that Bloom really wants out, Stephen pulls him back in for one last con and then Bloom can quit forever. There final mark is the beautiful and interesting Penelope (Weisz) who in fact collects hobbies. Anyways they lure her into an elaborate scheme that takes them around the world.

This was written and directed by Rian Johnson who also wrote & directed Brick. So if you liked his style and writing then you’ll love this one.
