Remember The Titans (2000)

What I love about this movie is the story it tells, it gives us a visual idea of how things were in the early 1970’s and unless you actually grew up during that time period all you have is what’s in the history books, and what is shown in some movies. This movie is such an inspiration not only to sports but to everything in life. What I love about this movie besides the amazing story, is the cast the cast is comprised of some actors who were well know then like Denzel Washington and Will Patton, and a lot actors not really known then but are diffidently know now like Hayden Panettiere, Donald Faison, and Ethan Suplee.

Now incase you don’t know of this movie. It is based on a true story, of how back in 1971 T. C. Williams High School became an integrated school with one of the only schools in their area to have both black and white players on there football team, all the other schools just had white player. They also get a new coach, Coach Boone (Washington) who does not care who comes out for the team he just wants them to be perfect. It also shows the difficulties that the team must go through not just between themselves but also with the town and other teams on the field.

This is a movie the whole family can sit down and enjoy.
