Zombieland (2009)

This movie is truly what it says on the cover, ZOMBIELAND. With a mixture of comedy and a lot of blood and guts, I agree with what I’ve been hearing that it’s “Superbad meets Shaun of the Dead.” This is a really great cast that delivers a ton of comedy with not only great funny lines but with some of the funny things that happen to them. It’s also hilarious to watch them fight all these zombies, they use everything from a gun to a baseball bat. I loved almost everything about this movie. There was just one thing that got me, this movie is only 88 minutes and it got a little too slow during there time in L.A. It did pick up after they left there so that was good.

*SPOILER ALERT*
Zombieland is about how everyone in the world is getting sick and turning into zombies after one person ate something bad and then bit someone, it just kept on going. The story surround around Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) who tells us about all of his rules to surviving Zombieland. As he travels from his college to his hometown of Columbus he runs into Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) who has found his calling of killing zombies, the only real mission he seems to be on is getting some Twinkies. As they encounter some zombies they both run into to con artist sisters who rob them of their guns and truck. When they all meet up again they decide to stick together. Will they make it to where they want to got, who know, you’ll have to check out this movie.

It was great to see Bill Murry show up.
