Just Like Heaven (2005)

Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo star in this great movie that is blended together so well with both romance and comedy, just like a comfortable couch in perfect view of the TV, “I like the couch”. With a great story that is based off the book “If Only It Were True” by Marc Levy. Where you can meet an annoying spirit that doesn’t know it’s a spirit, and yells at you for everything. With a really great cast that also includes Jon Heder along with the two stars. This is one of the few movies out there that Jon Heder actually plays a charter worth watching, I did enjoy Napoleon Dynamite but more when it first came out. But it’s more enjoyable watching Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo they are some of my favorite actors, as they try fighting each other and go through this journey of trying to find out who she is.

Elizabeth (Witherspoon) is a great doctor but that’s the only thing she is focused on, while everyone is complaining about there husbands and boyfriends, she just does her job. It’s not that she doesn’t wish but it’s just not the right time, but while she is on her way to her sister’s house to meet a blind date, she is suddenly hit by a huge truck. Soon after we meet David (Ruffalo) who is looking for a new apartment and literally gets one thrown in his face, only to find out later that the old attendant of that apartment is still there, well sort of. Now he is seeing the spirit of Elizabeth and at first thing are on a rocky start, he really believes she’s not there, he also tries many way to get rid of her from a Priest to Ghostbusters. After seeing that it’s not gonna get rid of her, he decides he’ll help her find out who she is, sucks no one in her building knows that she even lived there. Will they find out who she is? Or will David end up in a mental facility before that? Who knows, check it out to find out.

With funny antics and great hilarious lines this movie is awesome. This is one of my favorite Reese Witherspoon movies, she really can carry a this great romantic comedy.
